Privacy at Ayema
This page describes the design of the current review build. Ayema must approve a complete privacy notice before public launch.
Separate journeys
Therapy intake and care records are kept separate from Connect preferences and community profiles. Joining one area does not add you to another area.
Private self-reflections
Self-assessment answers stay in the page’s memory. They are not saved to an Ayema account, sent to a practitioner or used for matchmaking. Reload or clear the check-in to start again. You can explicitly download a private summary to your device; clearing the page does not remove downloaded files. Read how these check-ins work.
Your controls
You can edit your Connect profile, pause introductions, withdraw from an introduction, or hide your community profile. Account settings provide a self-service copy of your account, appointments, care intake, care messages, payments and your own Match/Circle profile. Export, correction and deletion reviews can be requested privately; staff record the action actually taken and any retention rationale. Clinical notes and third-party or safeguarding information require separate professional and rights review.
Care confidentiality and communication
Clinical notes are encrypted and restricted to the assigned eligible practitioner. Finance, matchmakers and community moderators do not gain clinical access. Care information is not sent to marketing pixels or used for advertising audiences. Ordinary public Circle discussions are not a confidential clinical communication channel.
What the team must finish
Ayema must publish the final data categories, purposes, lawful basis, retention periods, recipients, cross-border transfers, contact details, and request channels after legal and privacy review.
